Crazy 4 Challenges #70 meets Make It Colourful Challenge #2

This week at  C4C, we need to create a card that has a "Thank You" sentiment and at Make It Colourful we need to use red on our card. So I combined these 2 challenges and created this card:

I love the spring/summer feel of this card full of lovely colours.

My scenery image is by Make It Crafty.  If you love to colour, then these images are perfect for you!   I decided to use Sugar Nellie's Gorjuss Girl today. I have missed colouring these images. Aren't they sweet!?

Also, at C4C our sponsor this week is Flowersoft! They sent us some beautiful new Flowersoft colours that I used on my image. If you play along at C4C, you could win a set of the new colours and flowersoft glue.

The copic colours I used today are: E11, E00, E000, R20, C7, C3, C1, C00, R27, R24, R22, E47, E44, E42, E35, E33, YR23, Y23, Y11, Y00, G21, G20, YG67, YG63

I will enter this card at the following challenges:

Crafty Catz - Thankyou card
Crafty Sentiments - Thankyou card
Paperplay Challenges - Cutie patootie
Woodware USA - hearts

If you would like to play along with us at C4C, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C70.  We would also love to have you play along with us at Make It Colourful - just add something red to your card. Thanks for visiting! See you next time!

Sugar Bowl Challenge #17

Today, I've made a card for the Sugar Bowl challenge using a Gorjuss girl stamp. I just love these images as they are so much fun to color. I bought my gorjuss stamp from Funky kits. Here is my card:

She is just the cutest! One condition for the challenge was to make your own flowers using punches or dies instead of pre-made flowers. I made mine with the Spellbinder dies and used some brads to hold them together. I really love these spacers that I found to help embellish the flowers.

Ok, now I need to go and "referee" the children. Sigh... when does school start?
