Little Darlings - Saturated Canary Windy Day

Hi Everyone! This is Angela and we have a new monthly inspiration for you today.  This month our theme is Die/Dye It. So I chose to use Dies on my project today. I made a wall hanging for my daughter to hang in her bedroom using my favorite Saturated Canary image from Little Darlings.  This is Windy Day:

I used a spellbinder grand oval die for this project and also 2 papertrey ink cloud dies.  My background image is from Make It Crafty - Rainbow background digi image that I thought worked perfectly with this image.

Here is a bit of a  closer look:

I added lace and beads around my scene.  I think it will look pretty hanging in my daughter's room which is outdoor themed.  I hope she likes it!

I will enter this at the following challenges:

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - no patterned paper
Ink it Pink - anything goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge blog - diecuts and/or punches
Stampotique Designers Challenge - weather

Well thanks for visiting me today. Have a great day!

Hello everyone! I am back today with a Christmas Blog hop for Make It Crafty's new Christmas release. OMGosh these are the cutest images ever! Wait till you see them!  Here is the card I created for today's blog hop.

Isn't she just the sweetest angel?  I'm not sure that I quite like how I've colored her but I gave it my best shot due to time constraints. I used a combination of copics and colored pencils for this image - actually I tend to use both mediums with every image that I color. I'd love to hear what you think?

Today, we are also celebrating Zoe's birthday during this hop and are all offering up some candy that we've assembled on our own.  I have a Magnolia unmounted stamp to share with my followers and who comment on this blog post. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZOE!! <3

You'll have two weeks, until October 12th, to visit each member in the hop below and winners will be announced on Friday, October 14th on their individual blogs.

Make It Colourful - Coloring with yellow and purple

Happy Saturday to you all!  It's almost June and SUMMER! Can't wait for the hot weather and spending some time with the kids outside in the pool and at the beach. We had ourselves a long and snowy winter here in CT this year.

Well, today at Make It Colourful our challenge is to color something yellow and purple.  So here is the card I prepared today:

I created this fun little scene using the Wonky House on Hill from Make It Crafty and also using several Magnolia images ie; Tilda With Bike, Tree, Little Birds, and Sun.  All my Magnolia images came from Magnolia-licious and they just happen to be our sponsor this month at Make It Colourful.

Thanks so much for your visit and for always leaving me such sweet and positive comments on my cards. They mean the world to me! Have a great weekend.

Make It Colourful Challenge - Coloring Water

Isn't she a cutie!? This is Sandy at the Beach and she's from Make It Crafty.  All the images I used today on my card are the newly released Make It Crafty digi images. I prepared this card for the Make It Colourful Challenge where we were challenged to color water.

I combined the following digi images all from Make It Crafty:

Sandcastle
Sandy at the Beach
The Beach

This is such a fun release, perfect for summer cards. I had fun making this scene.  I used the grand scallop die from Spellbinders to make the shape of this card. Papers are from Stampin Up and I used Distress Inks and Diamond Stickles to the edges of the cutouts. My sentiment is computer generated.  The ribbon is from my stash as well as the pearls.

Our sponsor at Make It Colourful this week is Quixotic Paperie where you can find Make It Crafty's rubberstamps along with so many other products.  I need to go shopping!!

I will enter this card at the following challenges:

Creative Card Crew - cute and girly

Mo's & Zo's Carnival Blog Hop - Make It Colourful

Welcome to Mo 's and Zo's Carnival Blog Hop.  If you've come from  Barbara's  blog then you're in the right place otherwise start at the beginning here at Jak's blog.

Today Make It Crafty and Mo's Digital pencil have teamed up and are showcasing some Carnival digital images.

Along the way you will find balloons with a letter in them. Write down the letters as you go because at the very end we want you to guess what the saying is! My letter is the letter T.

There will be THREE grand prizes randomly drawn from the correct answers PLUS there will be hidden prizes along the way so make sure you leave some love as you hop along!

Now we know this is a super big hop, but we wanted to make sure you would get LOTS of inspiration! The hop will be open until the April 28th so you will have plenty of time to come back each day with a cuppa to soak it all up! (Just don’t lose the letters you have been collecting!)

We would like to thank our fabulous sponsors, Mo’s Digital Pencil, Make it Crafty, Stamping Bella and Quixotic Paperie for providing the fabulous prizes for this grand carnival hop!

Here is what I came up with using several of both Mo's and Zoe's images:

I made a picture for a kids room. It would fit perfectly for a bedroom that has a circus/carnival theme. I layered several digital images together to create my background scene using MS Word.  The Make It Crafty images that I used are: Candy Cart, Circus Tent, Uni-cycle,  and Fair Carousel.  The images that I used from Mo's Digital Pencil are: Jojo (clown) and The Fat Lady.

Whew! This took forever to color (over a week).  I'm glad to finally get a chance to use this unfinished picture frame (12x14)  that I've had for years that I had bought from either Michael's or AC Moores.  I pulled it out, dusted it off and painted it red. Then I adhered some Martha Stewart border punch die cuts and then embellished with some of Zoe's (MIC) chipboard corner cut outs that I painted with red Smooch paints and glued on some red crystals.

I hope you like my project today. Would love to hear what you think! :) Your next stop on the hop is Shirley.  Thanks for visiting!

We have a wonderful sponsor this week at Make It Colourful. Chrissy Armstrong will be sponsoring this week's challenge which is to blend yellow and green together. ** Remember at Make It Colourful it is not about just using the colors green and yellow but it's a coloring challenge where we have to color with the colors yellow and green and show how we blend them together.

Today I used this sweet puppy digi image from Squigglefly called "Forgiven" and paired it up with Make it Crafty's Daffodile Dell image.

Isn't he a cutie!? My papers are by Basic Grey Max & Whiskers paper pack.
