Crazy 4 Challenges #59

October is such a beautiful month with the leaves changing.  Our leaves here in CT are just about starting to turn. In another week or 2 the colors will be amazing! Then rake rake rake... (my back hurts just thinking about it). Well this week at Crazy 4 Challenges we need to create an *Autumn/Fall* card!!!
Here is the easel card that I created:

I had the front door background stamp that I got from Magnolia-licious and my adorable trick or treators are from Whimy Stamps.  These digital images were created by the very talented artist Chrissy Armstrong.  My sentiment is computer generated. Don't you just love that checkerboard border punch?  That is an EK Success punch - LOVE IT!

Here are a few more pics:

These kids are just tooo cute!! ;)  I will enter this card at the following challenges:

The Creative Cottage Challenge - Halloween
Crafty Cardmakers - fancy folds
One Stitch At A Time - use your digi stamps
My Grafico - anything goes
Challenge up your Life - autumn (halloween reminds me of autumn)

I hope you can play along with us this week at Crazy 4 Challenges. I'll be looking for you! ;)

October Whimsy Digital Blog Hop

It's time for the October Whimsy Digital blog hop!  If you came from Danni's blog then you're in the right place.  Otherwise, please start at the beginning at the Whimsy Inspirations Blog.  You want to make sure to comment at every stop on the hop for your chance to win some awesome prizes. There will be 3 chances to win. So here is the stair-step card I created for the hop today:

I found this haunted house image on the net and used these adorable Meljen images as my trick or treators.  Do you think they'll stop to trick or treat at this house?  I certainly wouldn't - too spoooooky and I'm a big chicken! LOL!  That fun GONE HAUNTING sign is from Raindrop Echo Designs' Halloween sentiments release and can also be found at Whimsy Stamps.

My family and I love watching the Charlie Brown Halloween classic, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."  Don't these guys look just like some of the Peanut's gang?  Just need to add some extra  "eye holes" to one of the ghosts. ;)

These digital images and more have been released today.  So hurry on over and pick some out.  This blog hop will remain open from 12 noon EST  Friday 15th October and will close on Friday 22nd October  at 12 noon EST.

I will enter this card at the following challenges:

The Creative Cottage Challenge - Halloween
Papertake Weekly Challenge - 3 of something (I used 3 bats)
Crafty Cardmakers - fancy folds
Cupcake Craft Challenge - scary creatures
Lexi's Creations - spooky
I Did It - spooky
One Stitch At A Time - use your digi stamps
My Grafico - anything goes
Challenge up your Life - autumn (halloween reminds me of autumn)

Thanks for stopping buy today and for any comments you might leave. I enjoy reading them so much!  Your next stop on the hop is my friend Domi.

Inky Impressions Challenges - Anything Goes

I love "anything goes" challenges and over at Inky Impressions Challenges this week, that is exactly what our challenge is. So today I used Inky's new image called Nickie - the Sweet Witch.

Oh she is sweet isn't she!? Here is a closeup pic:

I used K & Co. papers, that fun bat charm is from Inky Impressions, and the ribbon/gems/and flying bats are from my stash.  I used a spellbinder scallop die and tried to color it with copics and distress inks to make it look like the moon.  I think it worked out, what do you think?

This challenge will run for two weeks,  players have until noon eastern time October 21st for a chance to be inked by the inkettes.  I hope you can join us over at Inky Impressions challenges. I'll be looking for you!! ;)

YNS Christmas New Release Blog Hop

Hello again, my friends! If you are here for my Paper Romance post, please scroll down. Here I am again with another post for you! Today I am lucky and thrilled to be a GDT member for Your Next Stamps' New Christmas Release Blog Hop. I absolutely LOVE YNS images and wait till you get a look at the sweeeet stamp I am working with today.

Gingerbread houses/people are some of my favorite decorations during the Christmas season. I love the old fashioned country charm they provide and the wonderful gingerbread and cinnamon-y smells just warms up your heart and home! ;) Every year, my girls and I make a gingerbread house and gingerbread cookies to hang on our tree while listening to Bing Crosby's Christmas CD. We love it - can't wait for the holidays!!

So for this card I used this Gingerbread House that you can find HERE. I made a shadow box - instructions can be found here at Splitcoaststampers. I cut out the gingerbread man with my Cricut and used white Scribbles paint for the frosting details. I found the buttons and snowflakes at Joanne Fabrics. I colored my image with copics as always. ;)

Following is the blog hop rotation in case you get lost on the way:

This hop will run from October 7 to October 12. Also right now there is a 15% off sale going on at the YNS store (which is where I'm heading in just a minute) ;)

Thanks for visiting me today, your next stop on the hop is my friend Beth. Have a great day!
