Inky Impressions New Release Blog Hop

I made a side stair step card today. Instructions can be found here.
My papers are from DCWV, the sun charm is from Inky Impressions, I used a scenery stamp and pine tree that I colored to match my image, and the sand and seashells are from my stash. I used my Cricut to cut out the waves and the pine tree using the Everyday Paper Dolls Cart.

Good morning! TGIF!!! Today I wanted to show you an easel card that I made using this Inky Impression image called Shy Little Nickie . Here is my card:

I followed the Midnight Madness sketch this week. I colored my image with copics and used K & Co paper, gingham ribbon from Michaels, pearls and lace from my stash, and spellbinder dies.

I picked up this stamp from Magnolia-licious where I buy all my Magnolia stamps. She is part of the Christmas line of stamps and although I don't see this particular image there right now to link too, I'm sure Diana can easily get this stamp for you if you request it.

Paper Romance - YNS Challenge #12 - Yippee Fhiona

Happy Tuesday to you! Today I wanted to play along with the Your Next Stamp Challenges #12. My friend Cabio is hosting this week and she chose distressing as her theme. So here is my attempt at distressing my card:



The distressing is very subtle but I tried. Here is a closeup of Yippee Fhiona (isn't she cute?)



When I saw this image, I pictured my 7 year old jumping for glee on the last day of school (sort of looks like my Christina too) and so created this card. For my card today, I used an assortment of papers from DCWV and Provo craft. My buttons, star charm, and twine are from my stash. The school is from Alota Rubberstamps.

Critter Sketch Challenges - Challenge # 6

It's time for another Critter Sketch Challenge post. Our inspiration this week is the following image:



The colors of Donald Duck. So that would be red, white, yellow, blue, and black. So this is what I created with these colors.

I used this image from Bildmalarna and he is called Mimo with Roses. These images are so much fun to color. You can find them at Paper Jewels along with other wonderful stamps.

Easter Bunny Ornament and Treat Cone

Today I want to show you 2 projects I made using this cute High Hopes bunny that I got from Paper Romance. My first project is an Easter egg ornament.



I colored the bunny in with copics. With the help of my Cricut, I cut out an egg (using the Doodlecharms cartridge). The ornament is embellished with flowers from Wild Orchids, basket and heart buttons, ribbon, heart charm, and Inky Dinky drops. I also used Norma's tutorial to make the border around the egg.

The second project I made is a treat cone that I filled with chocolate eggs. It can be given to a friend/classmate or teacher for a small Easter gift. I first saw this cone on Splitcoaststampers (tutorial can be found here) and wanted to give it a try. So here's my version.



I embellished the cone with pearls, a flower button, and ribbon. I used Stampin Up papers for this project and my spellbinder die and Martha Stewart punch.

Inky Impressions Challenge #32 - Recycle

The challenge this week at Inky Impressions is to recycle something on your project. So I made a trinket box out of a box that once held a small rum cake that my husband received from work over the christmas holiday.

I used this cute Inky Impressions stamp called Lili's Stuffed Bunny for this project. My papers are from Stampin Up and DCWV. I embellished with pearls, a K&Co sticker, and flowers from Wild Orchids. For my trinket box to close properly I had to add an extra lip around the lid to hold the box closed. I'm happy with the result. What do you think? I hope you can leave a comment to let me know.

GDT Project for Sew Many Challenges

I am so thrilled to be the guest designer this week at Sew Many Challenges. For the challenge this week, I picked an Easter theme. I love this time of year when spring peeks out after a long winter. Easter has always been special to me because I had my daughter 11 years ago on Good Friday and brought her home on Easter Sunday. My 2 girls and I love Easter/spring crafts and always invite a bunch of kids over to color eggs during this time. So for my GDT project at Sew Many Challenges, I created this small Easter basket.

I used this sweet rabbit from Sew Many Cards. Her name is Jovi - isn't she adorable? For my basket, I used K & Co papers and embellished with pearls, ribbon, lace, prima flowers, a cross charm, and several different Martha Stewart punches. I colored my image with copics and I also added white crushed velvet flock to Jovi's chest area. So what do you think? Bunny Blooms - Paper Romance

Happy Thursday to you! How cute is this bunny from High Hopes Stamps? I think he is just adorable and couldn't wait to make a card with him after I got him from Paper Romance. I used my copics to color him and my papers are from Best Occassions and DCWV. The ribbon and star charm are from my stash. Please let me know what you think of him. I love reading your comments.

Fairy Lili Butterfly Basket

Today I have a butterfly basket to show you. I found the cardboard butterflies at my local Michael's store and decided to turn them into a basket. I used this cute image from Inky Impressions called Fairy Lili and used her to decorate the butterfly along with some flowers from Wild Orchids, ribbon from Michaels, stickles, and some crystal picks also from Michael's. My papers are from K & Co.

Critters Sketch Challenge DT Card - Challenge #4

Hello my stamping friends, we have another challenge for you this week at the Critters Sketch Challenge blog. Instead of a sketch this week, our challenge is a color combination of blue, yellow, and green AND to use an image with a flower on it. So I used this CUTE Bildmalarna image from Paper Jewels. This stamp is called Mimosa Tea.



When you pull the teapot lid, the sentiment is revealed.



For my card, I used a teapot template that I found for free over the internet. I used DCWV and K & Co. papers, prima flowers, MS punches, Spellbinder dies, and the ribbon, daisy button, teapot charm (too cute), and crystal picks were found at my local Michaels store.
