SCACD - Guest Designer

Hi Everyone! Today I'm back with another SCACD guest designer post. I am soooo ready for spring and have made a stair step scenery card in this theme.

I've used a couple of Elisabeth Bell images today and one from Make It Crafty.  I've made the trees with a Memory box die and punched out tiny flowers with a hand punch to make the spring flowers. Here is a closer look:

Details:

Images:  Elisabeth Bell - Storybrook Collection Sampler #6 (Hats), Make It Crafty Fence - Petals and Palings.

Ink: Copics, Memento Ink, Distress Ink

Papers: Carta Bella - Devoted

Dies: Grass die by MFT (I think), Trees by Memory Box, Letters by Memory Box

Misc.: Ribbon, button, butterfly from my stash

I've enjoyed making this spring card.  I hope you all liked it too.  Let me know what you think if you can. Have a great day!

SCACD - Loves Me

Hi Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend.  Mine was fun.  We celebrated my daughter's birthday (I can't believe she's 14 already).  Last week my girls also had Spring break off from school and we kept pretty busy with outtings and sleepovers.  Lots of fun and the weather was great for the most part.  Can't wait for summer! It'll be here before you know it!

Well today, I wanted to show you a card I made with another adorable fairy image that I got from SCACD.  She is called Loves Me.

I used copics to color my image and the colors are:  E11, E00, E000, R20, YR23, E37, E35, E33, E31, Y000, BV13, BV11, BV000, BV0000, YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91, BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10, R59, R85, R83, R81, RV10.

SCACD Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to be asked to be part of the SCACD blog  hop this month showcasing some really fun new images that they are releasing.  The stamps are from the Susana Loves Stamps presents the Eye of Beauty Collection. If you've come from, Crystal's awesome blog, then you're in the right place.

This is Angel Eyes. Isn't she gorgeous? I love her eyes!

I've colored this image with copics and prisma colored pencils. I used spellbinder dies on this card and embellished with flowers and pearls and used some stickles on my angel's wings.  Also, I've used a MIC chipboard butterfly embellishment. The papers I'm using today are by Glitz Papers and called Pretty in Pink. SCACD has so many stunning new paper pads, you have to check them out.   I also ordered from them this new glue that I've started using and absolutely LOVE called ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever. If you're looking for a glue that works great with paper and embellishments, this is the one you want to give a  try!

For my international friends, please visit SCACD's sister store Quixotic Paperie to pick up these stamps and products.

Thanks for visiting me today everyone! Your next stop on the hop is Melanie's beautiful blog!

Give Peace a Chance - SCACD

Hi Everyone! Sorry it's been awhile since I've posted. I haven't been feeling too well this past week and had some blood work done to see what's up. Hopefully everything is ok and these dizzy spells stop.  Anyways, today I had a productive day and was able to make some things to post this week.  Today, I wanted to color up this adorable image that I got from SCACD.  This is Give Peace a Chance.  Isn't she groovy?

I colored her with copics and pencils. The papers I used are by Jillibean soup and called Dutch Mustard Soup.  I also used a Magnolia rainbow stamp that I thought worked well with this image.

Well, that's it for now. Thanks everyone! Have a great day!

Daphne's Tea Party - SCACD

Happy Sunday! Today I wanted to show you a card I made with  this gorgeous Sylvia Zet image that I got from SCACD.  This stamp is called Daphne's Tea Party.

Here's a closeup. Isn't she gorgeous!

I used my new favorite paper pad called A Walk in the Garden by Best Creations that I picked up at SCACD. I used punches for my border and flowers. My image was colored with a combination of copic markers and prisma pencils.

SCACD just got in a bunch of new paper pads and other products ordered from CHA.  Stop by and take a look, I'm going shopping too!  Have a great day!

Vive la France

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend?  My kids had off from school all last week and kept me so busy chauffering them all over so I haven't had a chance to comment on everyone's blogs like I usually do. Hopefully we'll get back to normal this week.

Today I made a fun card using this adorable Victoria Case image from SCACD.  Her name is Lola (she was a showgirl -- lol ok now I'm dating myself).  My youngest daughter for the longest time called herself Lola and made us all call her that too. I had to pick up this image for the name alone haha!  I thought she'd be cute paired up with the new Make It Crafty Paris line they just released and hurried over to pick up this digi background. Did you know that you could buy Make It Crafty rubber stamps and chipboard embellishments right here in the USA from SCACD.  Yay!!

The Eiffel Tower was a freebie image that I got when I ordered the Cafe de Paris background from Make It Crafty.  I used the Fleur De Lis Accents Spellbinder dies on this card, my sentiment was computer generated, and I used copics to color this image.

I had so much fun making this card. Please let me know what you think! Have a great day and see you soon!

Tea Cup Gift Package

Hi everyone! Today I have a tea cup gift package that I made for one of my girl's teachers at school. I used a My Time Made Easy tea cup template.

I found this sweet Elisabeth Bell image at SCACD that I thought would work nicely with this gift package - she is called A Cuppa.  I picked up so many cute stamps from SCACD. I can't wait to find time to use them!

I filled my basket with Starbuck's hot chocolate and also tucked in a Starbuck's gift card. Isn't this a cool way to give a gift to a teacher? I had fun making this project!

Copic colors I used on this image are: E00, E000, R20, E57, E50, E35, E33, Y21, R85, R83, R81, RV10, B37, B34, B32, B000.

Well thanks for visiting and checking out my little project today. Y'all come back now!!
