Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

Hello stamping friends! Are you ready for the superbowl this weekend? My husband and kids are big fans of football, especially the Patriots who are playing this weekend.  So I made a fun card for them.

I used this adorable Cheerleader Tilda from Magnolia-licious. I actually colored her quite some time ago and when I pulled her out I was happy to see she was colored in Patriots colors.  I also used Magnolia's Doohickey die - Starlight Lace and used the stars that were punched out from this die to embellish my card.

I hope you like my card today! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Little Darlings Challenge - Polka Dots

We have a new challenge for you over at Little Darlings Challenges. Our challenge is to use polka dots in our creation. I used my grand nestability squares dies to create a sort of picture frame card and used white cardstock and Stampin Up blue and white Polka Dot paper.  I wanted to have a little dimension in my scene and used pop dots between the trees, clouds, and image.  The Little Darling image I used  is one of my favorites from the first release called Up Up and Away. Here is a side view to show the dimension in my scene:

Here is a close up photo:

I know the images aren't quite to scale but it's meant to be a whimsical card. I hope you like it? Other stamps I used are all by Magnolia: Little Birds, Edwin's town, and  Row of Trees. I also used the Lovely Fence Doohickey die by Magnolia and the cloud die is by Paper Trey Ink.

I really enjoyed making this picture frame type card. I have so many ideas floating around in my head of more things I can do with this card style. Please let me know here what you think of my card. :)

Well that's it for today.  Please stop by on February 8 where the DT will have a new challenge and blog hop showcasing Little Darlings newest images (you don't want to miss it - they are some of the cutest images ever)! Have a great day!
