Tilda's Path of Life - Frame card

Good morning! I have finally made a frame card for the Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge blog. Just in the knick of time. Here it is:



I used this sweet Tilda called Tilda with Lamb . She can be found at the Magnolia-licious store - looks like she's still available,she's perfect for Easter cards. The tree is also from Magnolia but I couldn't find it to link to. For my background, I used this beautiful Our Daily Bread stamp - it is called Path of Life. Just love this peaceful image.

Magnolia Lunchbox/Purse

Hello, thanks for stopping by. Today I wanted to play along with the template challenge at the Just Us Girls challenge blog. So I used a Lauren Meader template that I purchased from Papertrey Ink. I just love her templates and now she's opened her own store called My Time Made Easy. This is the lunch box template.



When I printed out this template, I increased the size to fill an 11x17 in. size paper. The materials I used for my project are: DCWV papers, Offray ribbon, Spellbinder dies, MS punch, and I colored my Magnolia image with Copics. I will also be entering my gift purse at the following challenge blogs:

Sew Many Challenges #2

Where did the weekend go? Flew by way to fast for me! It'll be February before you know it and still no big snowstorm for us here in Connecticut. Just need one storm to keep the kids out of school and go sled riding... just one. Nothing but rain around here :0(...

Well, today I have a card to show you that I made using these super cute images from Sew Many Cards. You have to take a look at these critters and if you visit their Challenge blog every Friday, they have Freebie Friday where you get a free image to use. Can't beat that!



The challenge this week is a color combination challenge using purple, white, and a splash of black. The challenge is open to everyone, so go check out their blog if interested. I colored my image with copics and used one of those Flowersoft globes. Tried to make it look like a shaker card by putting in some polar white flowersoft inside the globe. What do you think? It's a little hard for me to get a good picture of this card because the camera reflects off the globe. Hopefully, you can see it ok?

My mingle card for Annette B.

Just a quick post today. This is a card that I will be sending to my mingle partner, Annette, over at the Inky Impressions Yahoo group. Inky Impressions Treasure Box

Good morning to you! Can you believe it's Wednesday already? Time sure does fly when you're having fun! Well, today at the Inky Impressions challenge blog, the challenge is to use pink and hearts on your card/project. So I created a treasure box to give to one of my daughter's for Valentine's day. I didn't follow any template or pattern so it took a little while to make but I really like how it turned out. What do you think?

I colored my image with Copics, my papers are from Stampin' Up and K&Co, I used a MS punch, pearls, Spellbinder dies, crocheted flowers, Zva Created and Prima flowers.

Sew Many Challenges #1 - Anything Goes

Hi there. Today I wanted to join in on the Sew Many Challenges challenge blog. Their very first challenge is "anything goes." So I used this image which was a freebie that was offered at their blog. Isn't she cute? I believe her name is Eris. If you are interested, you can find other digital images of Eris and many other animals at the Sew Many Cards store. There are all sorts of whimsical animals there like tigers, owls, donkeys, etc. all with a "sewn together" look. Really cute!



I made a stair step card following the splitcoast stampers tutorial. I used Basic Grey papers, spellbinders hearts dies, copic markers, and an embroidered flower.

Altered Spring Lili Easel Card

I just bought this stamp over at Inky Impressions. Isn't she cute? She is called Happy Spring Lili and she can be found here. Originally she was holding a banner that said Happy Spring so I masked off the Happy Spring part and just filled in with my black copic pen around her dress. Then I hung some beads on a string and attached it to my image. I also paper pieced her dress and embellished with some flowers that I glittered up with stickles. Hope you like it. Inky Impressions Sketch Challenge

Hello fellow stampers! Hope you are doing well this fine day!? Today at the Inky Impressions Challenge blog we have a wonderful sketch challenge to follow created by my fellow DT member, the very talented Domi.

I used this cute image from Inky Impressions. She is called Ice Skating Rachel. She's perfect to use for winter cards, don't you think? I had fun coloring her.

I colored my image with copics and surrounded the image with a flowersoft globe. The snowflake and scrolls were cut out with my cricut machine. I used SEI papers, MS punch, and the ribbon, pearls, and charm are from my "stash." Hope you like it!? Thanks for looking. Hugs!

Magnolia Birthday Cart

Happy New Year!!! Wishing you a fabulous 2010! Hope you spent your New Year's surrounded by your loved ones.

Today I have a birthday cart tabletop decoration to show you using these wonderful Magnolia stamps that I love so much. I made it using my scor-pal and following the flower cart instructions at the scor-pal site here. I increased the size a bit so I could fit in all my decorations.

I am entering this project in the Cupcake Craft challenge and the Three Clovers Design challenge where the challenge is to make something for a celebration.

I used Unwrapped Tilda from the Christmas collection that I picked up at the Magnolia-licious store. I don't see it there for sale right now, but I'm sure Diana will be getting a shipment soon.
