September Whimsy Blog Hop

It's the first of the month and it's time for the new digi release blog hop for Whimsy Stamps. If you've come from Marjon's blog, you're in the right place.

For today's card/project, I used this newly released Professor Owl digi image. I love owl's and this one from Meljen is so adorable! My sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs (Graduation sentiments) also from Whimy digital images.

What do you think? Does it look like a graduation cap? I recycled a cheese container for the base. I thought a gift card or rolled up money could be put in it.

Whimsy - Back to School

Wow! Where has the time gone? I can't believe my kids go back to school next week. This has to be the quickest summer I've experienced. Well, school is the inspiration for my card today.





This is Apple Beary Fairy from Meljen's Designs and you can find this digital image from Whimsy Stamps.

I used DCWV papers and Papertrey Ink cardstock. My buttons and ribbon are from Joanne Fabrics, the Apple w/worm image was a freebie from Meljen's Designs. The copics I used are: E39, E35, E34, E33, E31, R29, R27, R24, R22, R20, YG67, YG63, G21, G20.

Morning, stampers! At C4C today, Francis has challenged us to a musical challenge for the week. All you need to do is include music somehow on your card. It could be music related stamps, designer papers, embossing folders, punches ... whatever you wish. I used this lovely image from Magnolia-licious that is currently on order, I believe. Time for another Crazy 4 Challenges post! August 16 is Cupcake Day in Australia which is where my DT pal, Frances Byrne, lives and she happens to be the host for this month's challenges at C4C. Cupcake day is a fund raising event for the RSPCA. So in honor of this day, get out your cupcake related items (ie. stamps, templates, papers, etc.) and include a cupcake related item to your card/project.
