Inky Impression Challenge

The challenge this week at the Inky Impressions challenge blog is to use snowflakes on your project. The other day, I was watching the Martha Stewart show and she had pop-up book author David Carter on the show. They showed how to make a pop-up book with a Christmas tree. I dropped everything and had to give this one a try. You can find the template and directions for the tree here and this is the card I made:

Here's a closeup of Happy Christmas that I cut out with my cricut using the Noel cartridge:

This is a side view of my pop-up tree. Can you see the light coming from the tree? I put a battery operated tea light at the base where there is a hole and the tea light fit perfectly.

This is a picture of the front of my card. I cut the tree with my cricut also, same cartridge. A bit simple, but I spent all my time on the inside of the card.

Here's a closeup of cute little Lili and she can be found at the Inky Impressions store.

Hope you like it? Thanks for visiting! :o)
