Snowflakes and Roses

Hi Everyone! I'd like to share this card I made with you using these gorgeous new Christmas release Magnolias.  This is Little Tilda from the 2012 Little Christmas Collection.  They are currently available for preorder at Magnolia-licious.  Have you seen this collection? The bears are so CUTE and I will be coloring those up soon.  But first, this cutie:

Here is a closeup:

I've used copics to color my image. My flowers are from WOC and I used some snowflake buttons that I picked up at Joanne Fabrics.  I've embellished the snowflakes and flowers with Diamond Stickles.  Papers are by Magnolia and I've also used the Spellbinder Floral Ovals.

Well, that's it from me today.  Have a great day!!

Magnolia-licious Highlights Challenge

It's "Anything But a Card" challenge this month at the Magnolia-licious Highlights blog. Today I'd like to show you a little sewing box I had fun making.  I'm not much of a sewer unfortunately but I often sew buttons on my my husband's shirts and mend tears in my little ones clothes. This box will be a cute way to store a few buttons, threads, and needles.

I used a template from My Time Made Easy for this sewing box.  Make It Crafty had the perfect chipboard embellishments for this project. I also used some lace trim and floral brads from Stampin Up.

Here is a view of my sewing box lid. I used this sweet Tailor Tilda  (link to mini image). My image is colored with copics and I've embellished with Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.

There's plenty of room inside the box for my needles, scissors, and a few spools of thread and extra buttons. So cute!  I hope you like my project today, I had fun making this.  Thanks for visiting today, see you soon!

Magnolia-licious Challenge - Butterflies and Blooms

Good morning everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks. I took a bit of a break and spent time with my family before school starts.  There was also lots of shopping to do to get ready for school. Summer vacation went by too quickly.  I've also been working on a few projects for the next Magnolia Ink Issue - I'm so glad to get that completed!

Well anyways, we have a new inspiration challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog. Our theme is "Butterflies and Blooms." Isn't this a lovely photo?

I created this card with this theme in mind:

I think fall has to be my favorite season, I love the vibrant colors we see outside in the begining of the season. Everything looks like a painting and so I used those colors on my card today.  There was lots of cutting out and piecing together on this scene.  I used my favorite tree from Magnolia (which is not in stock right now) and the Welcome to our Lovely Home background along with my favorite stamp from this collection, Tilda with Scooter (link to mini image). Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and my papers are from Basic Grey - Pyrus paper pack (perfect for fall).

Here's a closeup:

I used soooo many copics on this one, I couldn't even begin to list them all but if you want to know any specifics, please email me.

Well this is my last post for the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog. I've so enjoyed working with these talented ladies and special thanks to Diana and Candy for including me on this team.  They have a new team starting in September with so many talented designers. I can't wait to see their creations! I am moving over to the Magnolia-licious Store team and am very excited to work with this group of ladies whom I've admired for so long. Thanks to Diana for the opportunity.

**Stay tuned! I am putting together a bit of blog candy for my loyal followers.**

Thanks everyone!  Have a great day! xo

Hi Everyone! Time for another challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog.  Our color challenge this time are the colors pink, blue, white/cream.  Here is a photo with the colors:

And this is the card I created for this challenge.  I haven't had a chance to use this sweet stamp yet so was happy to use it for this card.  Don't you love her pink bear. LOL!

This is TeddyBear Love from the 2012 Prince and Princesses Collection.  Unfortunately it doesn't currently seem to be in stock at the moment at Magnolia-licious but I'm sure it will be soon. The diecut border I used is a Magnolia Doohickey "Old Swedish Lace" die.

I used the following copics to color this image: E13, E11, E00, E000, R20, B24, B21, B000, R85, R83, R81, RV10, E35, YR23, Y23, Y21, Y000, C1, C00.

Little Darlings - Shaped Cards Theme

Good morning everyone and Happy Sunday! This is Angela and it's my turn again to
post at the Little Darlings Inspiration blog. Our theme for this month is to make a shaped card
(not rectangle or square).  Well, I don't have a card to show you but an
oval picture that I had made to show at CHA.

I used an oval wooden plaque that I got from Walmart and painted it brown and sanded
the edges a bit to rough it up. I glued my stamped scene to the top and added some
chipboard letters to spell out Fall and voile all done. I used several of the
CHA newly released images for this scene. They are: At the Pumpkin Patch
Please visit the Little Darlings Rubberstamp Store soon for these fun new images.

Well that's it from me today.  Hope you enjoyed my project today.
Have a great day! xo

Saturated Canary - Wendy

Hi Everyone! I'm back today to show you one of the cards that I made for the Little Darlings booth at CHA.

This is Wendy. Isn't she just the cutest thing? Little Darlings is now manufacturing the Saturated Canary Rubberstamps line. Isn't that great? LD has also come out with their own paper line designed by our very own Mindy Baxter. That girl has waaay too much talent! And I'm loving these papers, this one is called Chocolate Covered Cherry and is available for preorder at Little Darlings Rubberstamps.

Well, that's it from me today. Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your visiting me and leaving me such sweet comments. Thanks everyone!! xoAngela
