Saturated Canary New Release Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!  Welcome to the new  Saturated Canary rubber stamp release today!  This release will just blow you away!  Each image is sooo cute and I can't wait to color each and every one.  Wait till you see them all and I'm sure you'll agree.

So today I have a few things to show you.  First up,  I've used Cocoa Girl and created a little teacher's gift.  I made my mug using an octagonal spellbinder die.  I filled it with cocoa and marshmallows.  A cute and inexpensive teacher's gift (of course you can insert a gift card to your favorite coffee shop too).  I also used Cocoa Girl for my card.  Isn't she darling?

Next up is the lovely Rebecca. And is she ever gorgeous!  I've tried something different than my usual and colored her all in gray.  My first attempt, what do you think?  I also took a french twist to my card.  I like the pink and gray color combination.

You can get these images along with the entire collection at  Little Darlings Rubber Stamps
and many of your favorite craft stores around the globe.  Pre-orders are starting today!

The LDRS DT and SC DT have joined creative forces to give you an outstanding display of their artistic abilities.  Below is the blog hop order:
Make sure to visit everyone and leave a comment.  You will then be in the running to win a couple of these stamp beauties.  Trust me, you're going to want to win these!

Well, thanks for visiting me today!

Happy Hopping Everyone!

Magnolia Christmas Tag

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday to you!  Thought I'd post a little tag that I made today before starting my weekend errands.  I haven't made too many tags but they are so simple and adds such a  homespun touch to gifts.  I plan to make a whole bunch and add them to my gift giving presents this year.  And what a great way to use these sweet little bears from the Magnolia Little Christmas Collection.  This is Cocco with Present currently available at Magnolia-licious:

I used Jillibean Soup - Christmas Eve Chowder paper pack for this tag.  Also used a poinsettia and the Old Swedish Lace Magnolia Doohickey die and my sentiment is also by Magnolia.

I hope you liked my tag today!  By the way, Magnolia-licious has so many holiday images available especially the 2 new collections, Christmas Story and Nativity Collection.  The Magnolia-licious DTs has been busy coloring up these images so you can see them at the store all colored up.  They did a great job.  Check it out!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Cutie Pie / Little Darlings Winter Scene

Hi Everyone! This is Angela today hosting at the Little Darlings Design Team Inspiration blog.  Our theme this month is to create a scene.  Well the weather forecast is calling for a  nor'eastern to hit  my area this evening.  So I was inspired to create a little winter scene with some of my favorite Cutie Pie and Little Darlings images.

This is Mistletoe Cutie from the Cutie Pie collection and Frosty's Giggling from the Little Darling Winter Wonderland collection.  Too cute!  I used Christmas Eve Chowder paper pack from Jillibean Soup for this card.

Well that's it from me today.  ** Don't forget about entering our current contest at Little Darlings.  You could win 4 Saturated Canary stamps!  Contest ends on November 14.  See the details here.

Have a great day!

Winter Fun Magnolia-licious Style

Hi Everyone!  Whew what a week!  I'm happy to say the electricity is finally restored at my home after the hurricane. 3 days of no electricity is not fun.  Definitely adding a generator to my Christmas list this year. And I'm happy to report that I  have no fall leaves to rake as the winds blew them all away.  Our pool  has suffered the only damage due to the hurricane but it could have been so much worse and my girls are enjoying a week off from school.

Well today I am sharing my "interactive" or "something hidden" card that is our current challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlights this month.  I made a stair step card with a "slider" addition.  Here is my card:

I used several Magnolia images today to create my fun winter scene.  They are:  Tilda in the Mountains, Old Swedish Church, Snowy Tilda, Edwin on SledSki Edwin with SnowflakesWinter Forest (link to mini image), and Edwin Skiing (which doesn't appear to be in stock currently).

I used Ski Edwin with Snowflakes to slide across the front of my card, almost appearing like after he fell he slid a bit.

I cut a thin rectangle and attached a foam pop dot to the back of Edwin, placed it in the slit and underneath the paper and through the slit I attached the button to the back of the foam pop dot.  I guess you can say that is my "hidden" portion of the card as you can obviously see the slit I cut for the slide to work.

Here are a few more pics of my card at different angles.  I also used several dies on this card.  I used Spellbinder snowflake dies, Magnolia Doo Hickey poinsettia die, Memory box landscape die and snowflake border.

Well that's it from me today. I really enjoyed putting this card together using all these fun stamps. I'm loving this Christmas story collection of stamps!

This last photo is a pic of my pool after the storm we had Monday.  I'm just thankful all these trees that surround my yard didn't fall on our house! Thank you God! Take care and count your blessings, big hugs xx

Jingle Jangle Tilda

Hello Everyone!  It has been awhile since I posted a new card.  I have been so sick last week and then I had Magnolia Ink deadlines to make not to mention several family/school events that I had.  I am so glad to get back to blogging and coloring my favorite Magnolia stamps! Today with the impending hurricane coming by Connecticut and schools and highways closing, it is the perfect time to put a pot of coffee on the stove and hibernate in my craftroom (before the power goes out).

Today I have a fun Christmas scene card that I made:

Here is Jingle Jangle Tilda decorating her home for Christmas.  She is currently available at Magnolia-licious.  What a sweetie!  I think the Christmas Magnolias have to be my favorite collections.  Have you seen the Nativity Collection available for preorder at Magnolia-licious. OMG I have to have them.  I am currently saving my pennies as there are so many stamps from that collection that I have to get.

The fun background stamp that I used today is a stamp I bought last year. I believe it's from "I Brake For Stamps." My papers are from Recollections - Love Letters packet that I got at Michaels Arts & Crafts.  Embellies used today are a wooden heart button also from Michaels and I used Cheery Lynn Designs pine branches die and the Magnolia Doo Hickey poinsettia die.

Wow the wind is blowing hard outside. To all my friends on the east coast, stay safe and batten down those hatches!  Big hugs!

Magnolia-licious - Think Pink Treats

Happy Monday everyone and Happy Columbus Day!  My kids have today off from school and we are enjoying a nice lazy day after a month load of homework and tests galore.  Well today at Magnolia-licious Highlites, we are having a blog hop and our theme is "Think Pink Treats" in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Here is a bit about our theme:

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) is an annual international health campaign organized by major companies every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon symbol was used in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder as the symbol of The Breast Cancer Research Fund she founded and is used to symbolize the fight against the disease. We also honor those that have fought the battle and who are currently fighting the battle while raising awareness to ALL women to be aware of the symptoms and to be proactive against the disease. Want to find out more? The National Breast Cancer Foundation HERE for those in the US and globally at the PinkRibbon.org site HERE!

  • In 2011 Nearly 1.5 million women across the world were told they had breast cancer
  • One-third of breast cancer deaths can be decreased with early detection and treatment
  • In the US 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer over their lifetime, an estimated 527 women are diagnosed in the US with breast cancer each day
The Magnolia-licious DT wants to help promote awareness/early detection and share what this Think Pink Month is about with ALL women! We also want to honor all of those women that have or are currently fighting this disease and show our support in the fight!! To show our support the DT has planned our own “Think Pink” Celebration and we hope you can all join in. Each DT gal has created some Sweet treats and PINK Packaging to match using those beautiful Magnolia images. You can find some Magnolia stamps that were created specifically for Pink Ribbon Awareness at Magnolia-licious  HERE. So have fun hopping along to see all the fabulous Pink-a-licious Creations and make sure to stop back by the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to join in on the fun too!

Here is my project for today:

I found this fun Ribbon box template at My Time Made Easy and knew I wanted to make this for today's hop.  I also made the matching little scalloped card.  The background writing paper is a digital image also from My Time Made Easy.  Magnolia images used today are: Tilda With Many Hearts mini image and Tilda With Christmas Baking.

I filled my box with my favorite Hershey kiss peanut butter cookies.  You can find tons of this cookie recipe on Pinterest.

Well that's it from me today.  Whew this was a long post!  Next on the hop is my very talented friend Cabio.  The girls have really outdone themselves today, I hope you can visit all of them!
