Magnolia Advent Calendar

Hi Everyone!  Today is day 21 for the Magnolia Advent Calendar.  I am the host today and I'm happy to share with you my project.  It's a joint project with my 2 daughters.  They helped me make this Gingerbread House.  It is definitely not perfect or look professionally made.  But my daughters' and I had fun making it and adding these sweet Magnolias to the house really adds something special.  I hope you like it!

Little Darlings Facebook Group

Hi Everyone! Just hopping on quickly today to let you know about the awesome giveaway on the Little Darlings Facebook Group.  

As you know, we are heading to CHA in Anaheim in January. As you may have guessed, we will have a new release of rubber stamps for the show. Do you think we can get to 1000 members by December 31st 2012?  If we do,  a FULL SET OF ALL THE STAMPS IN THE UPCOMING CHA RELEASE  will be given to a randomly chosen member of this group.

Tilda With Little Rudolph

She is so cute!  I'm loving these Magnolia papers that I used on my card today. They are not currently available at Magnolia-licious unfortunately and neither is the tree border die from Memory  Box or poinsettia doo hickey die. But if you like them, I'm sure they can be ordered for you.

Little Darlings Inspiration - It's a Celebration

Hi Everyone!  This is Angela and it's my turn to post at the Little Darlings Inspiration Blog.  Our theme this month is CELEBRATIONS.

So today I made a fun party card using Party Hardy from the new Saturated Canary Winter 2012 rubber stamp release.

I've used mainly purples on my card but for some reason they photographed very dark and the color looks almost brown unfortunately.  Otherwise, I'm happy with how this card turned out.  My flowers are by WOC and the papers I used today are by Lilybee Designs - Picket Fence paper pack.  My image was colored with copics: E11, E00, E000, R20, B06, B02, B000, B0000, E19, E18, E17, E13, R85, R83, R81, RV10, W3, W1, W00, BV13, BV11, BV00, BV000, E35, E33, E31.

Tilda With Puppy

Hi Everyone!  Have you received your Christmas Magnolia Ink issue? This issue comes with a free  stamp and boy is it ever so cute!  I had to make a card with it:

I have been using craft paper on alot of my projects lately.  I love the way it looks, especially with holiday images.  Reminds me of christmas packaging I guess.  I also used the Santa Claus paper pack from MME - purchased at my local Michaels Arts and Crafts.  I also used a Christmas sentiment cling stamp from Recollections.

Magnolia-licious Highlights Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!  Time for another Magnolia-licious Highlights Blog Hop.  Today we are joined by the talented ladies on our Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog Team.   If you've come from Katie Tate's  fabulous blog, then you're in the right place. Hopefully you've taken the hop and commented on everyone's projects to be eligible for this month's  prize.  This is your last stop on the hop.

So our theme this week is to create an Interactive Holiday Tag (tags that do something, tag that is a card, slide tags, tags that pop up, etc).  Here is the tag that I created:

I've masked together this sweet Christmas Tilda with Cat from the Little Christmas Collection (currently available at Magnolia-licious) with this Lamp post that I had picked up from a stamp show (I can't remember who makes this stamp).  I used craft paper mainly and my designer paper is by Recollections.  I've used the Lovely Fence Doo Hickey die by Magnolia and Tilda's Doily Die and Spruce die both by Magnolia.

My tag opens up into a card and I added adorable Tilda with cute lamb from the Little Christmas Collection (not currently available at Magnolia-licious but I'm sure can be ordered for you if you ask) and I also used the Magnolia Merry Christmas sentiment.

Here are the details for this month's 2 challenges:

-First challenge is to create a Holiday Tag using at least (1) Magnolia stamp and the prize is (1) $50 gift card to Magnolia-licious.  Please link your project on the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog by Dec 29th.

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all doing well today.  I have been coloring up a storm lately.  Lots of Saturated Canary images that will be displayed at CHA this winter.  Wait till you see the CHA release - OMG soooo cute!!

Crunching Tilda - chomp chomp chomp

Hi Everyone! Hope you had a yummy Thanksgiving.  We spent this holiday in Massachussettes with my husband's family (in fact, I think I'm still there, hehe).  On the way back home, our tradition is to drive through Deerfield and stop at the super big Yankee Candle factory store.  What a fun place, definitely worth a trip if you've never been. We have so much fun and I usually by my yearly supply of candles.

Well today, I have a card to show you using this adorable Crunching Tilda currently available at Magnolia-licious.  How could you not add her to your collection?

My papers are from Recollections - picked these papers up at Michael's Arts & Crafts just this past weekend along with 5 other pads.  I just can't get enough paper packs!  I also used a couple DooHickey dies on this project: Starlight Lace and So Wrapped Starlight Folded Tag.  I picked up that adorable heart die from Whimsy.

Saturated Canary New Release Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!  Welcome to the new  Saturated Canary rubber stamp release today!  This release will just blow you away!  Each image is sooo cute and I can't wait to color each and every one.  Wait till you see them all and I'm sure you'll agree.

So today I have a few things to show you.  First up,  I've used Cocoa Girl and created a little teacher's gift.  I made my mug using an octagonal spellbinder die.  I filled it with cocoa and marshmallows.  A cute and inexpensive teacher's gift (of course you can insert a gift card to your favorite coffee shop too).  I also used Cocoa Girl for my card.  Isn't she darling?

Next up is the lovely Rebecca. And is she ever gorgeous!  I've tried something different than my usual and colored her all in gray.  My first attempt, what do you think?  I also took a french twist to my card.  I like the pink and gray color combination.
