Make It Colourful Anniversary Celebration

Happy Sunday to you! I have a long post for you today but I hope you will read on as I have a prize to be won if you hang in there with me! :)

This month at Make It Crafty we are having a birthday blast extravaganza! Make it Crafty is turning ONE and we have a huge challenge and fabulous prizes to be won if you join in!!

We are bringing you a reminder that the celebrations are going for the WHOLE month of July so you have plenty of time to play with us.

Today we are excited to be playing with two other international resellers of Make it Crafty products, Susana’s Custom Art & Card Design in the USA & Stempellädle Der Bastelmarkt in Germany.

To celebrate we thought, rather than a blog hop we would set a CHALLENGE using Make it Crafty products!!

There are FIVE challenge categories and there will be FIVE GRAND WINNERS! More about the 5 categories if you read on.

PLUS, there will be Random winners throughout the month!

There will be random winners throughout the whole month. The numbers have been pre-selected and as soon as an entry is added that matches that number they WIN! Winners will be announced soon after entry on the sidebar of Make it Colourful.

PLUS THERE’S MORE!!!

Zoe, the owner of Make it Crafty has a super duper HUGE Candy give away – choc-a-block FULL of Make it Crafty goodies!! AND I have heard a whisper that she is planning on having random giveaways on her blog throughout the month of July! All you need to do is leave her some love as she’ll randomly be choosing people who have commented on her posts throughout the last year!!

So I do hope you will celebrate with us this month and get into the Make it Crafty spirit of FUN!

There are 5 categories you can enter and you are welcome to create a card combining more than one category.

1. Merge as many Make it Crafty images into one scene.
2. The most creative combination of Make it Crafty images
3. Create a project using ONLY Make it Crafty rubberstamps
4. Create a project using ONLY Make it Crafty Laser cut embellishments. NO IMAGES!
5. And lastly, create a project with Make it Crafty images and coloured with Blue, Mustard/Yellow, and Brown (Make it Crafty Logo colours!)

******** CANDY ALERT ********

As a little special EXTRA, Zoe the owner of Make it Crafty, has told me that I can choose FIVE very lucky commenters to win this special ‘Zoe All Excited’ digistamp. Just leave your comment below and I will choose the winners on July 17th!

We hope you will join us in the celebrations!!

So I have made 2 cards to show you to fit into 2 challenge categories.  My first card fits into category #1. I have used 3 digi images for this one. They are: Lulu swingsPetals and Palings, and Peaches of Plenty.  I love combining different images to create one scene.  Check out Zoe's tutorial section on her blog for a tutorial on how to combine digi images on MS Word.

My next card fits into the 5th category - using MIC logo colors.  I used Siren Lorelie. She is gorgeous! Don't you love the pearl necklace she's holding? ;)

I used my scallop circle grand nestabilities to create my shell card. Also added stickles to give the mermaid some sparkle. I used MIC flower swirls chipboard cutouts as my seaweed. I got my sentiment made by Whimsy from Love To Stamp.

I had fun making these cards. I hope you liked them and can let me know what you think. Please stop by Make It Colourful and join in our month long challenge. I'll be looking for you! Thanks for stopping by!

OMG Angela ! I'm speachless !! (and it hasnt gone un-noticed by the other half ! ) Your first card is just precious !

The 2nd ... OMG the hair ! and... the hair !! just.. OMG !

Gosh, I sorta feel a tad inadequate now with my humble pencil skills. I can do that with pencils, but try as I may, with markers, the magic just don't happen.
