This sweet image is called Fhiona and Her Friend Penguin. What a sweetie she is! I colored my image with copics and used SEI papers and some sparkly snowflake stickers that I picked up at Michaels Arts and Crafts store.

Here is a closeup:

Also, would like to thank Alina for this lovely award that she gave me.  I'd like to pass this on to all of you who visit me.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and I hope you can play along with us at the YNS Challenge blog. Have a great day!

December Whimsy Digi Blog Hop

** For my Birthday Blog Candy Winner, please scroll down to my YNS post **

It's time for the Whimsy Digi Blog Hop!  We have some super sweet images to show you so I hope you will take time to visit everyone on the hop as there will be an awesome prize for you lucky commentors!!

Because I had to travel last week for the Thanksgiving holiday, I was so pinched for time in meeting this deadline so what I did was use the new pre-colored digi images that Whimsy is now offering. What a life saver they were.  All I did was print them out on my favorite paper and cut them out with dies and made these fun treat bags and lollipop and candy cane treats.  I thought they would be fun for my kids to bring to school to give to their friends.  Just print about 20 of these pics out and there you go, nice and quick!

Aren't they cute? These lovely images were designed by Chrissy Armstrong. You can get the images already colored or the more traditional non-colored versions.  When I have a moment, I hope to color some up myself since I just love coloring with my copics.

I also made a card with this sweet angel and baby Jesus image. What a precious image!

I used a snowflake die that my good friend Chris sent to me for my birthday (thanks hunny)!! And I used the angel wings Magnolia die (so pretty).

Here is the DT hop lineup in case you get lost on the way):

YNS - December GDT and WINNER of my Birthday Blog Candy

Hi there friends! This month, I'm thrilled to join Your Next Stamp as a GDT. I love these sweet versatile images from YNS.  Here is my project that I'd like to share with you today:

I love recycling old cartons or containers and I used my favorite cheese container and covered it with some fun papers and this sweet image called Tobogganing Ellie.  Here is a before picture of the cheese container before I decorated it. What's fun about this ornament is that the lid pops off and you can stash a gift card or money inside and hang it on the tree.  ;)

Here is a closeup of cute little Ellie!

And now for the winner of my Birthday Blog Candy. Thank  you all so much for the amazing turnout. I never thought so many people would try for my candy!  I wish I had something to give to each one of you. Well, without further ado my winner is:

Saskia
Congratulations!! Please contact me with your address as soon as you can.  Please stay tuned everyone,  I do plan to have another candy draw in the New Year.  Be on the lookout!

I hope you enjoyed my project today! Thanks for dropping by and I hope you will leave a comment! Enjoy your day!

Crazy 4 Challenges #65

This week at C4C, our challenge is to use Script paper or a script embossing folder. Here is the card I made using this sweet Santa Edwin that I got from Magnolia-licious.

I used this wonderful vintagy Anna Griffin paper again that I just love! I also printed out a December calendar that I found online which I thought would work well for this card. There's my script paper in back of the calendar and I wrote "wish list" on it.  I embellished using the red/white twine and attached some jingle bells to it and a star and heart button.

I used my favorite copic colors to color in this image: R29, R27, R24, R22, R20, C5, C3, C1, C00, E11, E00, E000.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. If you would like to play along with us at Crazy for Challenges, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C65. Thanks for visiting me today! Have a great weekend!

Magnolia-licious Challenge #2 - Inspiration

We have an inspiration challenge for you today over at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. Here is our inspiration:

So I was inspired to make this pop-up card:

I've created a living room holiday scene. Similar to my family portait. There's my hubby fighting with the lights, there's me with my Christmas hat on, and my oldest daughter putting up most of the tree, while my little one looks on and supervises (ahem..  bosses us around - LOL)!  I love making these scenes in this pop-up format, here's one I made last year that is similar to this scene.  The card folds down on the left side therefore those images on the fold aren't totally glued so the card can be opened and closed easily. Here are a few more pictures:

The images I used on this card are as follows (all are from Magnolia-licious - some are in stock and some will soon be in stock):

Lightning Edwin
Large Armchair
Magnolia Cat
Tilda with Christmas Cracker
Dreamy Tilda
Tilda Trimming the Tree
Christmas tree

I will enter this card or tabletop decoration at the following challenges:

ATS Magnolia Challenge - christmas
Magnolia-licious Highlights  - "home sweet home" challenge
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - use punches

I hope you enjoyed my card today. Please leave a comment if you would, I'd love to hear what you think of it! Have a great day!

Crazy 4 Challenges #64

Our sponsor this week at C4C is Wink Wink Ink. Here is the card I made for today's challenge using this Holiday Peace digi image that I got from Wink Wink Ink:

The challenge for the week is to add circles to your card. My circle is the Christmas sentiment. Don't you love this Anna Griffin paper that I picked up from Michaels? So vintage - love it!  I colored my image using copics, added stickles to the ornaments and star. Also added a glittered snowflake, pearls, and copper brad.

I hope you can play along with us this week.  If you do decide to play along, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword *C4C64*.  Thanks for visiting me today.  Have a great weekend!
