Little Darlings New Release Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!  Here is my first project.  I made a cute wall hanging decoration for the kitchen featuring sweet Ratatouille. I found this cutting board at Michael's Arts and Crafts and I painted it in a yellow/cream color. Then applied the "Fruit Basket" papers to the board for some color and a raffia bow and other flowers and buttons were added to embellish this wall hanging.  I've tucked in a little sentiment from the new "Fairytale sentiments" also released with this collection.

My next project is this book box. I've seen so many book boxes in blog land that I decided to give one a try myself.  This cutie is Princess Peanelope.  Again, I've embellished with flowers and pearls. Also, I added another sentiment from the new Fairytale sentiments collection. This collection of papers is from the yummy Summer Sorbet collection.

Little Darlings Rubberstamps - Daddy's Girl

Hi Everyone! Well after a very frustrating week of losing internet connection I am back.  I definitely need to buy a new computer but in the interim we attached a wireless router to my laptop. But my computer is taking so long to connect to sites and even blogging has been difficult and taking way too long.  I am pulling my hair out. But at least it will get the job done while I continue blogging and posting my cards.  I'm thinking about getting an Apple computer but having used PCs all these years, I wonder if blogging and uploading pictures will be difficult or different for me on an Apple?  If anyone has any advice, please let me know.

Well today I wanted to share with you a card I made using this Saturated Canary image: Daddy's Girl.

She is super cute! I use Cryogen White paper to color on and as you can see, my camera reflected the sparkly bits on the paper.  It doesn't quite look like this in person.  I wish I new how to fix that, I did not use the flash when photographing this card. Again, if anyone has any advice, let me know. :)

The tag is a sentiment collection from Little Darlings Rubberstamps called Tag Alongs. Papers also by Little Darlings Rubberstamps called Summer Sorbet. I've embellished with flowers, ribbon, trim, a cute bear charm, and old fashioned pink tinsel that I found at Michael's Arts and Crafts. My image is colored with copics.

Computer Problems

Hi Everyone! I am at the library today logging in.  There is something wrong with my computer this past week and I can't connect to the internet.  I hope to have this resolved soon or I may have to get a new computer.  I hope to be able to post to my blog soon. Magnolia-licious Challenge - Use Vellum

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. We had beautiful sunny days here and spent time cleaning up the yard to get ready to plant some flowers and vegetables. We also tore down our pool that was destroyed by the last hurricane we had. So sorry to see it go but we plan to replace it with an inground pool this spring. We are very excited about that.

Well today the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge is to use vellum on our cards/projects.  The DT has some beautiful inspiration to show you.  Here is my project:

I've made a carriage/coach gift basket (pattern from My Time Made Easy).  Perfect to use with this beautiful Tilda in Cotton Dress.  The vellum that I used in my project is the polka dot vellum behind the window.

My designer papers is from Little Darlings - Summer Sorbet Collection. I love the colors in this paper pack. I've embellished with pearls and flowers, some trim,  and tied a bow with pretty pink gingham ribbon.

I've filled my coach with some chocolates.

Wee Wednesday - Roses Bike Ride

Good morning everyone! Are you as ready for summer as I am? We've had lovely weather this week and there's no better way to spend time outdoors than going on a bike ride.  So for Wee Wednesday today, I pulled out Roses Bike Ride  (currently available at Magnolia-licious) and made a little scene with her using several different dies.

My image was colored with copics and my papers are by Jillbean Soup - Blossom Soup paperpack.

I've used several dies for this card.  My sun is an MFT die and the Oak Tree is by Memory Box which might be able to be ordered for you if you ask Diana.  Also, I've used the Lovely Fence Doohickey die and Grass Doohickey die. I used a punch for the flowers. And embellished the flowers with pearls.

Magnolia-licious - Mini Monday

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend?  Spent most of my weekend watching softball games but we also celebrated my older daughter's 15th birthday. I can't believe how the time flies.  She's in her first year at high school now and working hard to keep her grades up.  I'm so proud of her.  

So for Mini Monday today, I wanted to share with you this cupcake treat box/gift box that I made for my daughter, Elena.  I used a pattern from My Time Made Easy for the Cupcake Box. I've decorated it with ribbons and trim from my stash and used papers from MME - Blush paper pack. I made the cherry on top using Doo Bee Pops honeycomb papers from Magnolia.

The mini image I used today is Tilda with Price Froggy from the 2013 Once Upon A Time collection.
I stamped her on a Vintage Tag Doohickey die cut.

On the back of the tag is my sentiment and I embellished with a cupcake that I made with paper clay and a Martha Stewart mold, then I colored the cupcake with my copics.

Wee Stamps - Angelica

Hi Everyone! I'm back today sharing a Wee Stamps card that I made. This is Angelica and I think this is just the cutest little winter scene, don't you? I love her peaceful expression and the cute critters in this image.

I've used so many different dies from La La Land, Marianne Designs, Memory Box. Well this is the last of my winter cards for now.  Next it's all about Spring and Summer.  I am happy to say bye to Winter this year!

Magnolia-licious Challenge - Buttons, Bows, or Beads

Hi Everyone! Today is Tuesday and we have a new challenge for you at Magnolia-licious.  Our theme is buttons, bows, or beads. Use 1 or 2 or all 3.  I used all three (if you consider the pearls as beads).

Have a look at this adorable new Tilda from the Once Upon a Time Collection 2013.  This is Princess Tilda With Ballet Shoes that came in the spring kit. I love the curly haired Tildas as I happen to have a curly haired daughter (who flat irons every day - LOL).  The butterflies and crown also came in the kit.

I'm back today to share a Little Darlings Inspiration card for you.  I'm loving this Saturated Canary image - how cute is she!?

This is Balloon Wishes from the SC Winter 2013 CHA release. Ca-UUUte! I've colored my image with copics and embellished with some WOC flowers, Tim Holtz medallion, and some wooden butterflies and word bubble.
