My Magnolia Church

What a wonderful Monday I've had today! My girls woke me up with birthday hugs and kisses and lots of handmade cards and handmade stories and pictures for me. Nothing beats a handmade present from the heart! Who needs diamonds!? Not me! :o) We celebrated at my favorite "fast food" place Panera Bread for dinner, YUM-O! Thank you to my hubby and daughters for making my day special.

Well, today I wanted to share with you my Magnolia church that I made. I used my Cricut and Winter Wonderland cartridge again for this project. I used 2 Magnolia images for either side of my church and they can both be found here at my favorite Magnolia store. I have lots of pictures to show you.

I used K & Co. and SU papers, prima flowers, stickles, pearls, ranger inks, and copics to color my images. I'm not sure if I will make this a table top decoration or another ornament for my tree. Another Inky Impressions ornament

I've made another ornament using my Cricut machine with the Winter Woodland cartridge and another Inky Impressions stamp. Thanks to everyone who visited my blog and commented on my last ornament. Your kind comments made my day even brighter!! :o)

So here's a picture of my gingerbread house or candy house and my little Elf Angelica from Inky Impressions.

I outlined the windows, the roof, and some of the stickers with my scribbles dimensional paint then sprinkled on some Martha Stewart glitter. The roof trim and rickrack came from my stash.

Here is a closeup of cutie Angelica Elf. I added the Christmas hat.


I colored my image with Copic markers, papers are from Debbie Mumm, and I used some stickles all over my project.

Inky Impressions Ornament Challenge

Hi there. Thanks for visiting my blog today. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your visit and comments. Today I am sharing an ornament that I made for the Inky Impressions challenge blog. I don't have any of the Christmas stamps yet so I took one of the stamps I did have and altered it to a Christmas image. I apologize for the poor pictures, I just don't seem to have a knack for taking a good picture as compared to many other blogs out there - hope you are able to see it ok. If anyone has any tips at all to share with me on how to take a decent picture of my projects for my blog, please let me know! My email is angelwoodcrafts@gmail.com.


I took this photo outside hoping the lighting would be better. I'm glad the weather cooperated today, yesterday was so cold with torential downpours, today it's very mild out. I added a Christmas hat and a gift (originally she was carrying a birthday cake).


This one's a close-up so you could see Lili a little better.


Here is a close-up of the charms at the bottom of my ornament.


And here's a closeup of the wooden snowflake that I colored pink with my copics and then covered with Diamond colored stickles and embellished with pearls. I wish you could see the sparkle on the snowflake. :o(



I cut out all the holly leaves with my new Martha Stewart paper punch and added pink jewels for the berries. I colored my Inky Impressions image with copics and used lots of stickles all over my project.

So Sweet Tilda

Today I used 60s Tilda from Magnolia-licious and a lollypop stamp from Alota Rubber Stamps. Here is the card I made.



I love the pink and green color combo. Here is a closer view of Tilda and lollypop.

"Think Snow"

Well, I'm not quite sure I'm ready for snow just yet but as long as it's a white Christmas, I'm happy. I made this card for the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group's homepage contest. I used the new tree stamp and charm that I won for guessing the "magic word" for Diana's Magnolia store.




Here is a close up of the "think snow" charm I won. So cute!

Copic Creations Challenge

Here is a small card I made for the Copic Creations challenge. The challenge is to color red hair. I used one of my favorite Magnolia stamps for this one.

Some Christmas Cards

Started working on some Christmas cards. Here is one that I used with Jam Tilda from the Magnolia-licious store and this wonderful gingerbread house from Alota Rubberstamps.


I used scribbles dimensional paint on the roof and dusted with some Martha Stewart glitter. Also used diamond stickles on the roof too and shutters.

I tried to make the bow with the sentiment look like an ornament.

October Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge

Here is my easel card for the Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge blog. I actually made 2 cards - 1 with the monochromatic twist (which was difficult for me I must say). The easel template can be found here. Suzanne Dean has pictures up at the Magnolia-licious challenge blog that explains how to make the easel card too.

Here is my monochromatic card. I have a bowdabara (from Walmart) that I used to use to make bows for my daughter's hair and it only just occurred to me to use it for cards now - I'm so glad I didn't throw it out LOL!



Here is my NOT monochromatic card. A bit on the simple side but still like how it looks.

Halloween Haunted House

I created this (not-so-scary) haunted house for my Magnolia-licious secret sister. I cut the house out with my cricket and the winter wonderland cartridge (love the designs on this cart). The papers are by Debbie Mumm that I picked up at Joanne's. I colored 2 Tilda's and have them peeking out the windows. They both have finished trick or treating and are still in costume.



I also have Edwin peeking out one of the windows on the side of the house.
