Shy Nickie treasure box

Hello stamping friends! Hope you are having a great week? I have been busy with my girls this week while they are home for spring break. Luckily we have had great weather here in CT and have been spending alot of time outdoors going to the park and the beach. Maybe we'll hit the zoo tomorrow. Anyways, I have been trying to squeeze in some time to stamp here and there in between outings with my girls and have managed to complete this treasure box using one of my favorite Inky Impression images - Shy Nickie. I altered a small tin that once held some Pirouette cookies (yummy!). See the pics below:

Picture of tin before altering:

Picture after altering:

Here is a pic of the copics I used:

Recipe: Spellbinder die, pearls, Wild Orchid flowers, various ribbon and trim, MS punches, copics, and crystal pics from Michaels.

I will be entering this little project at the following challenges:

Corrossive Challenge - texture
All Sorts - petals & pearls
Raise the Bar - let's spring for it
My Time to Crafts - pretty pearls
Crafty Angels - my favorite things

** If you are here for my CRITTER SKETCH CHALLENGE post, please scroll down to the next post.**

Good morning, friends! We are having our first ever Paper Romance blog hop today. If you've come from Cindy's blog then you're in the right place. This month at Paper Romance, Suzanne Dean is joining us as the GDT member for April. Welcome Suzanne.

So let's.... Hop into Spring!

Amy's doing some Spring Cleaning over at Paper Romance and is passing on some sweet deals for you and we're having a blog hop to celebrate! Make sure you visit all the DT's Blogs and leave some comments, one random winner participating in the Hop ( the winner could be from any of the blogs!) will win a $20.00 Gift Certificate to Paper Romance.

Onto my card, today I am showing you a card I made using Popcorn Bear. Here is my card:

Isn't he a doll? He was so much fun to color. I colored him with copics, my papers are from Basic Grey (Origins pack), ribbon from Doodle Bug Designs, and my flower charm is from Inky Impressions. You can find other Popcorn Bear designs, High Hopes Stamps, Your Next Stamp, and Cute Companion Stamps at Paper Romance.

I thought I'd enter this cute guy at the following challenges:

Mercy's sketch - sketch
Everybody Art - spring
Papertake Weekly - open, anything goes

Your next stop on the hop is Lori. Thanks for stopping by today!

Critter Sketch Challenges - Challenge #8

It's time for another challenge over at Critter Sketch Challenges. This week we had to follow a sketch and add gingham (in any form) to our card or project. Here is the sketch we had to follow:

And here is the card I made for today:

I used one of the new Inky Impressions images and she is called Hula Lili. I think this image is just so charming and so perfect for the summer (come on summer - I am tired of being cold). :0) My sentiment is also from Inky Impressions.

I cut the palm tree out using my Cricut and the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I used copics to color in the palm tree and my image. You can find this cartridge and other awesome scrapbooking supplies at My Scrapbooking Supplies and they just happen to be our sponsor for this month at Critter Sketch Challenges. There will be a great giveaway away at the end of this month from this fabulous store so I hope you'll play along with us this month.

Well, that's it for now. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Doesn't she just bring a smile to your face. Love her! I will be entering this card at the following challenges:

Mojo Monday - sketch
High Hopes Challenge - use gems or pearls
Papertake Weekly - open, anything goes

Thanks for stopping by. See you again on Monday when Paper Romance will have it's first ever blog hop. Hope you can join us!
